The Role:
As an Influence Manager, you are the driving force behind our campaigns playing a central role in delivering our influence marketing proposition across a range of clients and sectors. You will manage your workload autonomously, taking full responsibility for the quality and end-to-end execution of multiple influencer programs. In this role, you will act as a role model for Ogilvy's values, building trusted client relationships and communicating effectively across internal teams. You will be accountable for resolving problems on your projects, managing timelines, and proactively communicating your status to senior leadership. A key part of your role will be to support the growth of junior team members by providing constructive feedback, sharing knowledge, and acting as an informal mentor. We are looking for a creative problem-solver with a passion for the industry and a proven ability to lead projects with confidence and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Management: Manage the day-to-day running of multiple influencer campaigns from start to finish, including identifying and vetting talent, negotiating contracts and fees, implementing campaigns across relevant channels, overseeing delivery and ensuring quality, and reporting on performance against agreed KPIs. Maintain and update the influencer database to ensure accuracy and relevance. Serve as the first point of escalation for your projects, resolving day-to-day problems independently by consulting with stakeholders as needed and escalating to senior leadership only when appropriate.
- Strategic Contribution: Actively contribute to influencer strategy by recommending objectives, targets, and creative concepts. Confidently present creative solutions and campaign reports to internal and external stakeholders. Identify and nurture client-appropriate talent opportunities and relationships to help deliver the influencer program for clients.
- Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for your clients, managing expectations, providing timely updates, as well as advice and solutions. Build long-term client relationships by delivering work that meets agreed objectives and deadlines, and taking responsibility for the quality of all client outputs in your remit. Communicate effectively across internal teams (media, PR, social), proactively sharing updates and coordinating timelines to ensure smooth handovers and integrated campaign success. Share updates proactively, coordinate timelines, and resolve potential blockers before they impact delivery. Effectively prioritise tasks across all projects, proactively communicating your status to senior leadership, reassuring them that work is on track and meeting deadlines.
- Resource Management: Manage campaign budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered profitably and on schedule. Proactively communicate about your workload and capacity to your line manager. A key part of your role will be to support the growth of junior team members by providing constructive feedback, sharing knowledge, and acting as an informal mentor to aid their growth and development.
