About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Medical Editor to join our experienced editing team and help us deliver high-quality scientific content across a range of channels. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all scientific content is accurate, clear, and consistent with client objectives and brand standards. As a Senior Medical Editor you will be responsible for pioneering excellence in quality and accuracy as well as strengthening processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Edit and proofread scientific content across a range of assets ranging from show files for ad boards, manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks to checking subtitles on a video
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all scientific content meets client objectives and brand standards
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the editorial team
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to inform editorial decisions
About you
- Extensive experience as a Medical Editor, within an agency setting
- Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to edit and proofread scientific content across a range of channels
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work on time
- Ability to challenge content to ensure excellence of outputs in terms of accuracy, interpretation, visual impact and adherence to copyright regulations
- Strong communication skills, high emotional intelligence, the ability to adapt style according to the needs of clients and teams, and the ability to respond rapidly to situations and manage internal/external issues
- A good understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the healthcare industry.
