About the Role
We\’re delighted to have been recently appointed as advertising and marketing agency of record for a new pharma client in the dermatology space. This means we\’re now looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Account Executive or newly promoted Senior Account Executive to join us!
This is a fantastic time to join this new account team as we grow and develop our relationships. You\’ll support the wider team by ensuring delivery of the day-to-day workstreams in the client servicing team for 2 of the lead brands, one of which is the lead brand in their portfolio. Working closely with the wider team including project management and creative, you\’ll support on a range of deliverables including creative campaigns and a congress booth presence in the Autumn. We\’ll also be delivering a new disease state awareness campaign and an updated brand campaign with new core messaging and tactics. It\’s a great time to join us!
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for the effective implementation of client campaigns and programmes, by devising project plans and timelines and taking responsibility for driving specific activities. Under the direction of an Account Manager/Director, you will be the key day-to-day contact with the client, working to create strong relationships to deliver the highest quality of client servicing. You will be asked to lead client meetings and presentations to clients where appropriate. An important part of this relationship will be a thorough understanding of the client brand, the market environment, the clinical data and marketing strategy.
Attention to detail is important, and your role is to ensure all projects are implemented according to Ogilvy Health’s quality standards, including project deadlines and measurable objectives. In terms of your own writing and work, you will be expected to produce accurate copy (whether this is a status report, presentations, social media posts etc.) before passing anything on to team members for review.
As a Senior Account Executive, you will begin to become more involved with the financial side of the accounts; depending on the size of the account you may take responsibility for budget development and sourcing quotes, budget control and tracking projects and/or invoicing. Understanding the commercial aspect of our business and how Ogilvy Health works is important.
In addition to your account team colleagues, you will be working closely with the creative team, strategy and planning and external suppliers.You will be asked to take responsibility for briefing, tracking and managing some of these roles and ensuring they feel part of the account team and campaign.
You will be reporting to the account team lead on a day-to-day basis and for career development you will have a dedicated line manager
