About the Role
Are you a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Editor looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous individual to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This role is crucial in ensuring the continued delivery of consistent, high-quality, and error-free work across several of our key accounts. You will be responsible for providing expert medical editing services, maintaining the high standards our clients expect.

What You’ll Do
- Provide expert medical editing services across a range of projects, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Work closely with medical writers, account managers, and other team members to deliver high-quality deliverables on time and within budget.
- Maintain a strong understanding of therapeutic areas and relevant scientific literature.
- Ensure all materials are compliant with industry standards and client requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of editorial processes and standards.
What You’ll Need
- Significant experience as a Medical Editor within a medical communications agency.
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, grammar, and style.
- Proven ability to edit complex scientific documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working on a variety of therapeutic areas is desirable.
- A life science degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
