The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
The roleholder will sit within the IT function and take on a variety of responsibilities including managing governance activities, coordinating IT audits, and supporting project activities. This is not a technical IT role and the key to success will be high levels of organisation and meticulous attention to detail. Therefore, we are very open to considering applicants who have a background in general administration, audit, or business support.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of responding to IT audits and client assessments by coordinating timely, comprehensive responses from relevant subject matter experts, thoroughly reviewing submissions, and ensuring they are completed and provided as required.
- Develop and maintain a centralised database of audit and assessment responses to support more efficient handling of future audit requests.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets using asset management software, including tracking and conducting regular inventory audits as necessary.
- Oversee the lifecycle management of IT assets, ensuring maintenance complies with supplier guidelines and assisting with planning for asset replacement in line with Ogier's financial and technical policies.
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks in support of the wider IT department.
- Support the delivery of IT projects by maintaining project documentation and plans, including overseeing progress reports, schedules, budgets, coordinating resources and services, and helping to identify potential risks and issues.
- Organise project meetings and proactively follow up on key actions and outcomes to ensure accountability and progress.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for workshops, training sessions and related IT events as required.
- Manage and coordinate communications and updates with project teams, internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring all parties are kept informed of ongoing activity as appropriate.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an administration support role, preferably within an IT environment but this is not essential.
- Experience of working with internal and external auditors would be advantageous.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with IT systems and software.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Teams, Lists & SharePoint would be advantageous.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage own workloads and coordinate activity in line with strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- A proactive problem-solving approach and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
