Developing our talented work force is at the heart of what we do and so we're looking for a Paralegal who is looking to develop their legal career working closely with our lawyers in the Funds team to support on a wide variety of matters and clients. We're looking for a Paralegal to provide technically strong and accurate support to the fee earner team, whilst developing and learning in a legal service line environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support fee earners with basic legal work, e.g. research, document production, precedent development, for review by relevant fee earners.
- Proof read draft documents, memos and 'know how' documents.
- Preparing draft document lists, steps plans and closing bibles as requested.
- Efficiently ensure all documents and correspondence are saved in the relevant area so a current matter can be managed and accessed easily.
- Assist with non-chargeable research and drafting tasks for example, internal memos and client briefings and ad-hoc legal publications.
- Assist with management of matters ensuring key government and regulatory filings are completed as instructed by fee earners.
- Ensure time sheets are up to date at all times.
- Ensure billing is accurate and timely.
- Support fee earner to keep on top of billing to ensure timeliness of debt collection.
