The role holder will own the firm’s pitch and RFP automation technology (using Templafy), setting the vision and roadmap and driving adoption, optimisation and continuous improvement.

This newly created role reports to the Senior BD&M Operations Manager and is the link between technology, data and proposal owners.

They will anticipate needs and enable consistent use, ensuring that the tools are well configured and supported by accurate, up-to-date credentials and experience data across Ogier.

Working across the firm, the role uses analytics, feedback and market insight to improve processes, templates, data capture and automation, strengthening pitch and RFP responses at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pitch and RFP technology ownership
  • Act as the day-to-day owner of the firm’s pitch and RFP automation technology, ensuring it is stable, well configured and fit for purpose.
  • Translate user needs and business priorities into practical system enhancements and configuration changes.
  • Monitor usage, adoption and performance metrics to ensure the technology delivers measurable value across the organisation.
  • Optimise and embed AI capabilities within the pitching and RFP processes to improve efficiency, quality and consistency of outputs.
  • Credentials, experience and data management
  • Own the Ogier-wide approach to capturing, structuring and maintaining credentials, experience and other core pitch and RFP data.
  • Define and implement data standards, governance and quality controls to ensure information is accurate, current and suitable for client-facing use.
  • Work with Business Development and Marketing, Knowledge and service line teams to identify priority datasets, content gaps and data improvement opportunities.
  • Tracking and reporting on win/loss rates, trends and ROI.
  • Process design and continuous improvement
  • Design, embed and maintain end-to-end pitch and RFP processes that minimise manual effort and maximise consistency and quality.
  • Use analytics, usage data, feedback and trends to identify opportunities to refine templates, automation logic and data capture processes.
  • Continuously improve pitching and RFP processes, with a focus on scalability, efficiency and quality.
  • Adoption, guidance and enablement
  • Act as a subject matter expert for pitch and RFP technology and data across the business.
  • Produce guidance, playbooks and training materials to support effective and consistent use of tools and processes.
  • Promote best practice while accommodating the differing needs of the business.
  • Governance and risk
  • Ensure that pitch and RFP technology, templates and data comply with brand, regulatory, information security and data protection requirements.
  • Manage change control and approvals for material updates to platforms, templates and data structures.
  • Work closely with Risk, Compliance and IT teams to ensure appropriate controls are embedded and maintained.
  • Vendor relationship management
  • Act as the primary relationship owner for pitch and RFP technology vendors, managing day‑to‑day engagement including support, incident resolution, enhancements and release management.
  • Coordinate testing and deployment of upgrades or new functionality.
  • Work with internal stakeholders (BD, Marketing, IT, Procurement and Finance) to support renewals, licensing changes and future investment decisions.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
