Our Ogi Pro brand provides everything from telephony to managed IT services, alongside our high-capacity wholesale network that spans the M4 corridor. Backed by multimillion-pound private investment, we’re proud to be an employer of choice in Wales, creating hundreds of jobs across four offices. Join a purpose-driven team with a culture rooted in innovation that’s shaping Wales’s digital future!
We’re growing our transformation team and are looking for a practical problem-solver with a strong background in Software Delivery, IT and business transformation projects. You’ll work closely with the wider business and understand their processes and IT needs, spot opportunities for process improvements, and turn these into technology solutions.
About you… The role is focused on communicating the art of the possible from our current/future platforms to help the business understand how technology can be enabled for improved efficiency of existing processes and new business flows. Ideally, you’ll have solid experience in business process analysis, re-engineering, and workflow optimisation, identifying improvements that drive efficiency. Strong project management skills, with knowledge of Prince2, APM, or PMI, will help you keep projects on track.
As part of our restructured IT team, focused on DevOps and transformation, you'll drive IT and business change projects, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery. This role demands versatility, attention to detail, and strong emotional intelligence. Building trust with senior stakeholders is key to managing transformational projects and ensuring a smooth transition into BAU.
This isn’t a typical Project Manager role; we’re a start-up where flexibility and efficiency are key. We’re looking for someone who can embrace new challenges, contribute ideas, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
With experience in governance, compliance, and risk management, you should also have familiarity with industry standards like ISO9001, ISO27001, and ISO45001. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with MS Office, data models, and business systems will support your ability to drive change.
We place a strong emphasis on attitude, passion for technology, and the idea that "it's okay" is never good enough. Other experience & attributes we’re looking for include:
- Highly organised and driven with a can-do attitude, able to work to deadlines and motivate others.
- Experience in managing budgets and ensuring cost control of projects.
- Handling complexity, ambiguity and a fast-changing, often demanding work environment.
- Challenge and influence within the project, bringing both gravitas and project management experience to support this.
- Drive momentum and delivery within projects and be clear on how to manage and work through challenges and risks.
What you’ll be doing… Reporting to the Director of IT & Transformation, you'll bridge business needs with technology, identifying process improvements and translating them into tech solutions. Managing projects from inception to delivery, you'll handle resource planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure IT and business transformations are delivered on time and aligned with Ogi’s strategic goals.
If you’ve worked in a similar type of role, you’ll know the day-to-day responsibilities are varied and challenging; typical responsibilities will include:
- Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring timely, budget-compliant delivery in a fast-paced environment.
- Work closely with stakeholders to baseline current processes/systems, understand future requirements, and identify opportunities for improvement/re-engineering.
- Work closely with the rest of the IT team to understand the current data model, manage changes to it and leverage analytics from it to enhance the business.
- Work with the Compliance Manager to create a performance maturity model and maintain quality management systems (e.g., ISO9001, ISO27001).
- Creation, ownership and maintenance of project documentation.
- Developing and managing project schedules and progress updates.
- Helping to maintain and improve Ogi’s programme & project management framework.
