The Role: As a Dive System Technician specializing in systems, the candidate should be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of components and systems within dive equipment. Working primarily with underwater life support systems, the technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and safety of diving apparatus. This position involves technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards. Key Responsibilities Full Understanding Of Diver Reclaim – Includes: Be able to run up the system Fault find any problems during diving operations Maintenance and repair of mechanical parts of the reclaim system Maintenance of gas booster compressors, including strip down, rebuilding, and setup as per manual Maintain reclaim parts and understand equipment inside SDC Set up the reclaim inside the SDC and fault find issues Service and repair valves on the reclaim compressor Gas Transfer Compressors: Service & repair valves on the compressor Full knowledge of the filtration system Conduct gas purity testing Pipework: Create and install new pipework Clean pipework (O2 Clean) Pressure test pipework and hoses Procedure knowledge for making hoses (Gas and Fluid) Valves and Regulators Maintenance: Cleaning, maintenance, service, repair, and setting of Tescom regulators, back pressure regulators, ball valves, and pilot regulators Diving Helmets, Band Masks, and Bibs: Fault find and repair issues Perform full service with correct training certification (JFD) Maintain maintenance records Proper cleaning procedures (O2 Clean) Pumps: Understand Haskel high-pressure pumps Strip, service, rebuild, and set up Haskel pumps Water pumps (air driven) Launch and Recovery: Launch and recover diving systems Emergency recovery procedures Load testing capabilities Maintain system parts including winches, sheaves, and load limiters Pressure test main umbilicals and repair hose ends (Cortland Fibron) Launch SPHLs and understand procedures Refrigeration: Knowledge of refrigeration systems Service and maintenance Safely recover and add Freon gas IMCA Compliance: Fully compliant with IMCA D023, D024, D018, and D063 Pressure Vessels and Gas Cylinders: Maintain and inspect Knowledge of cleanliness (O2 Clean) Pressure testing #J-18808-Ljbffr
