We work with leading operators, drilling contractors, vessel owners, EPC contractors and renewable energy companies, delivering recruitment and manpower solutions across offshore oil & gas, offshore wind, marine and subsea projects worldwide.

As our international client portfolio continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant with a strong background in offshore marine recruitment and vessel crewing to join our team remotely.

This is a full-time remote opportunity for an experienced recruiter who understands the offshore marine sector and has a proven track record of sourcing and placing personnel for offshore vessels and marine operations.

Working as an independent contractor (freelance), you will become an integral part of the Ogenus Offshore team, managing recruitment assignments for international clients while helping to build long-term relationships with candidates across the offshore industry.

We're looking for someone who is proactive, commercially minded and passionate about delivering high-quality recruitment solutions within this specialist market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for offshore marine and vessel crewing positions.
  • Source, headhunt and engage offshore professionals across international markets.
  • Conduct candidate interviews and competency-based assessments.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines within the offshore marine sector.
  • Prepare candidate profiles and present shortlisted candidates to clients.
  • Coordinate interviews, offer negotiations and onboarding activities.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Keep recruitment activities and candidate records up to date using internal systems.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Ogenus Offshore team to deliver successful recruitment campaigns and exceed client expectations.

Requirements

  • Proven recruitment experience within the offshore marine and vessel crewing sector.
  • Strong understanding of offshore vessel operations and marine personnel.
  • Experience recruiting internationally for offshore or marine projects.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing and placing specialist offshore vessel personnel.
  • Strong headhunting and LinkedIn Recruiter sourcing skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple recruitment assignments simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven and comfortable working remotely.
