To work as part of the Private Patient and Overseas Visitors team providing administrative support of a high standard. Demonstrates due diligence whilst maintaining and promoting effective working practices commensurate with the post. Maintains confidentiality relating to the welfare and treatment of patients and staff at all times.
Responsibilities include:
- Working as a member of the Admin Team and supervising the Administration Team.
- Providing administrative support to the Management Team in the Private Patients and Overseas Visitors Service.
- Supervising and prioritising the work of admin staff daily to meet department needs.
- Ensuring tasks are completed accurately and promptly.
- Record keeping and ensuring all documentation, both written and electronic, is accurately completed using relevant software.
- Supporting high standards of patient care.
- Handling telephone enquiries for the Private Patients and Overseas Visitors Service.
- Inputting complex clinical and other data accurately into computer systems.
- Managing multiple tasks in a demanding environment.
- Overseeing outpatient clinics to ensure high-quality service and optimal clinic usage.
- Booking inpatient procedures, coordinating staffing, and informing relevant departments.
- Registering new private patients, checking discharge dates, status, and follow-up appointments.
- Informing patients about admissions or outpatient appointments, including payment and insurance details.
