Wakefield 0-19 Growing Healthy Service is high performing, caring, and proactive. We are seeking experienced, enthusiastic staff nurses to support our skill mix teams across Wakefield district. The successful candidate will work alongside School Nurses and Family Health Practitioners to deliver the Healthy Child Programme, in collaboration with partners in Family Hubs and the voluntary sector.

We are committed to supporting those who are successful in furthering their development. The role involves working with parents, carers, children, and partner agencies to promote physical, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include contributing to the Healthy Child Programme through targeted interventions and health promotion, undertaking comprehensive health needs assessments, and facilitating the mobilization of resources to meet identified needs. The post holder will ensure inter-agency and professional partnership working to facilitate integrated approaches in meeting the needs of children.

Essential skills include excellent communication, a passion for public health, good organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to travel independently as required.
