Join Ofwat’s Risk and Communications Team as a Stakeholder Engagement Associate *Office Location: Birmingham (B5 4UA) or London (E14 4HD) with hybrid working* About Us We are Ofwat, the Water Services Regulation Authority, a non-ministerial government department responsible for regulating the water sector in England and Wales. The Role We\'re looking for a Stakeholder Engagement Associate to join our Communications and Engagement team. In this role you will work across a wide range of projects and audiences to deliver effective engagement and communications with Ofwat\'s stakeholders. You\'ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, including senior leaders, to support the design and delivery of external engagement and communications. This will include preparing briefing materials, designing and coordinating external engagements and visits, and writing for a range of channels. You\'ll play a central role in the stakeholder engagement function, coordinating our systems and processes to ensure we maintain an accurate picture of stakeholder data and insights. You\'ll also have the opportunity to work in cross-functional project teams to support integrated communications across Ofwat\'s strategic priorities. About You Below are some of the key essential experience, skills & knowledge required for this post: * Lead criteria 1: Experience working in a stakeholder engagement and/or communications role, supporting the delivery of high-quality external engagement * Lead criteria 2: Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and concisely for a range of channels and audiences. * Experience working on the delivery of communications and engagement plans, including working within a project team to design and deliver activities that support objectives. * Experience in undertaking monitoring of external stakeholders, analysing key developments, and communicating insights. * Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. * Experience working with and supporting senior leaders, including preparing briefing materials.
