The Role
We are looking for a Policy Analyst (Senior Associate) to join our Price Review Directorate. You will have an important part to play in implementing final determinations and shaping future price reviews. You will contribute to the development of specific policy topics within the price review directorate and will analyse data and information to inform proposals. The nature of the role is cross-cutting, and you will be required to work effectively with colleagues from the directorate and the wider organisation. Being exposed to a wide range of policy areas within the price review directorate, you will have the unique opportunity to shape policies which have a real impact on consumers and the environment.
About You
Below are some of the key essential experience, skills & knowledge required for this post:
- Experience of developing and implementing high quality and robust numerical or policy analysis to tight timescales.
- Undergraduate degree in numerate discipline and/or significant experience supporting policy development.
- A high level of numeracy and strong analytical skills, including the ability to collect, analyse and assess evidence to inform robust decisions.
- Experience of building strong professional relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, and possession of strong interpersonal skills to achieve successful outcomes.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to understand and concisely explain complex issues in non-technical language.
