Overview:

A leading trading firm is seeking an experienced Post Trade Operations specialist to support their metals desk. This is a hybrid role based in London, offered on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with a focus on the London Metal Exchange (LME) post trade processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage post trade processes for metals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Perform trade matching for LME trades, ensuring all data is reconciled correctly
• Use LMEsmart to facilitate trade operations and confirmations
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve breaks and discrepancies
• Maintain detailed records and contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives

Required Experience:

• Proven experience in a Post Trade Operations role, ideally within commodities or metals
• Strong working knowledge of the LME and trade matching protocols
• Hands-on experience with LMEsmart
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage time-sensitive tasks
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
