Lead Back End Developer Python - FinTech

Orbis is working with a rapidly growing FinTech firm whose core product offering has been providing exceptional value to the Investment Management industry. They are now seeking a Lead Software Engineer with excellent Python or Rust experience to head up its back-end Software Engineering team. As a Lead Software Engineer with genuine enthusiasm for the Investment Management and FinTech industry, this role offers a rare opportunity for you to work with one of the most impressive firms in this space at an incredibly exciting time. Shaping and executing strategies for the firm’s suite of financial software systems. Architect and develop scalable cloud-native back-end services in AWS using Rust / Python. Mentoring and leadering to a highly skilled team of back-end software engineers, managing delivery and quality Extensive commercial experience using Python and either Rust or C++/Golang but with a strong understanding of Rust. Proven track record in developing distributed systems in a microservices architecture on cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
