A leading investment management firm based in London is seeking an experienced Head of IT Infrastructure / IT Manager to join on a permanent basis. This role will be responsible for the global delivery and oversight of infrastructure services across the business and will report directly to the Head of IT Production. The successful candidate will lead a small team and oversee the organisation’s core infrastructure functions, including day-to-day IT operations, network and server management, procurement, and performance monitoring. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing infrastructure performance metrics and driving continuous operational improvement. This position will work closely with IT and Security teams to align infrastructure strategy with wider business goals. Regular engagement with C-suite stakeholders and external vendors will be a key aspect of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the infrastructure team across all core functions
- Oversee daily IT operations, including network and server environments, procurement, and system performance
- Establish and track performance metrics to support operational improvements
- Collaborate with internal IT and Security teams on strategic planning and implementation
- Act as a point of contact for senior stakeholders and external service providers
Candidate Requirements:
- Extensive experience in IT infrastructure, preferably within financial services or mission-led organisations
- Proven team management experience within a technology function
- Strong working knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Cisco technologies
- Demonstrated experience engaging with senior leadership and managing third-party vendors
