You’ll deliver creative and practical learning experiences that help students build confidence, teamwork, independence and emotional wellbeing, while supporting their academic and personal development. Whether leading PE lessons, organising outdoor pursuits, or developing students' life skills through adventurous activities, you’ll play a vital role in helping every student achieve their potential.

Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you’ll create a safe, positive and inclusive environment where students can develop physically, socially and emotionally while celebrating their achievements and progress.

  • Support students to develop positive behaviour and self-regulation skills.
  • Work collaboratively with Learning Support Assistants and wider school staff to provide consistent support.
  • Contribute to enrichment activities, educational visits and outdoor education experiences.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment and safeguard the wellbeing of all students.

Who We're Looking For

  • Experience delivering PE, sport, outdoor education or practical learning activities.
  • Can motivate and engage students who may have struggled in mainstream education.
  • Builds positive relationships and remains calm, patient and resilient when challenges arise.
  • Is passionate about helping young people achieve both personally and academically.
  • Works effectively as part of a team and communicates confidently with colleagues and families.
  • Understands the importance of safeguarding and student wellbeing.
  • Holds relevant coaching, sports, outdoor education or instructional qualifications (desirable).
