Innovation is at the heart of everything we do at Offshoot Operations. Our Graphics Team delivers end-to-end solutions for broadcasters, sports federations, and facility providers, encompassing design, data and social integration, motion graphics, hardware, and operational support.
Our recent projects include Oleksandr Usyk vs. Daniel Dubois, Glastonbury, Wimbledon, Professional Fighters League (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and National Cycling Championships.
The Role
We\’re expanding our team with an exciting dual role combining graphics development and operation. We\’re looking for an experienced Graphics Developer with proven Vizrt design skills and operational capabilities who wants to apply their creative and technical expertise across both development projects and live broadcast delivery. About the Role of Graphics Developer & Operator at Offshoot
You\’ll split your time between developing creative solutions for our clients and operating graphics for live productions. This dual role offers variety and challenge as you apply your design and development expertise across diverse projects and clients. Work is hybrid with operational tasks onsite and development work carried out remotely, UK based with international travel.
Key responsibilities
Graphics Development
·Create and develop graphics templates, animations, and real-time solutions using Vizrt Artist
·Collaborate with creative teams to design innovative graphics solutions for sports broadcasts
·Build graphics templates for deployment across production workflows, ensuring functionality through testing
·Work with data integration systems for dynamic, real-time graphics displays
·Test and optimise graphics solutions for live broadcast environments
Graphics Operation
·Prepare and operate graphics for live and pre-recorded productions and outside broadcasts
·Problem-solve and troubleshoot in pressurised live environments while meeting tight deadlines
·Advise production staff on equipment capabilities and act as technical reference point
Experience Required
- Experience of Vizrt Artist for graphics creation and template development
- Proficient knowledge of the Vizrt graphics operating system (Viz Trio, Viz Engine)
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a graphics operator in a live studio environment
- Experience working in sports production environments
- Solid understanding of broadcast graphics workflows and data integration
·Experience with motion graphics and animation principles
·Knowledge of additional broadcast graphics systems
·Experience with augmented reality or virtual studio graphics
