Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading Various Size and Type Vehicles/Pallets
- Picking Boxes and Pallets ready for dispatch
- Moving pallets of Raw Material into the Print Preparation Room
- Receipt of FGS from finishing departments
- Using various IT systems to electronically receipt and issue both raw materials, consumables and finished goods.
- Assist the warehouse manager in ensuring accurate stock levels are maintained.
- Using IT equipment to print labels and pallet labels.
- Empty bins of waste into compactor / open top bins
- General housekeeping including tidying up of the department.
- Tidying yard when instructed to do so.
- Liaising with Planning manager, TOP Team, and suppliers to ensure board requirements are called off and delivered on time including calling off material from external storage locations.
- Assisting in annual stock checks
- Tracking Raw Material Purchase orders that are placed, ensuring all loads are booked in for delivery in time for production.
- Producing delivery notes and picklists for FGS dispatches to UK and EU
- Carrying out stock investigations when they arise and correcting any failings that are discovered.
- Organizing the collection and changeovers for waste material open top and compactor bins for paper/Wood recycling.
- Any other duties as instructed by the Warehouse Manager
- To comply with all business management system requirements
Skills and Attributes
- Minimum 3 years Warehouse Experience
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift truck licence
- Willing and able to work well within both a team and as an individual
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work under strict timescales
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Confident and enthusiastic with a desire to learn and develop through continuous training
- Experience of working with Information Management Systems and associated IT hardware advantageous
- Experience of working within an environment which adheres to various accreditations advantageous
- Able to show a high degree of initiative and flexibility
- Desired experience of working within a manufacturing warehouse environment
