About the role

Our business team thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment – and we’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our B2B team in Sydney city and surrounding areas. In this role, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of business accounts, leading the day-to-day execution of your account strategy while aligning to monthly and quarterly growth targets. By developing a deep understanding of your clients’ businesses, industries, and challenges, you’ll deliver tailored solutions that create meaningful value and drive sustainable growth. You’ll focus on building long-term partnerships, placing customer satisfaction and loyalty at the centre of everything you do.

Your success will be measured by your ability to achieve key performance outcomes, including sales growth, customer retention, and overall account performance. By building trusted relationships and providing commercially sound solutions, you’ll position yourself as a strategic partner to your customers.

What you’ll do:

  • Execute your account plans in line with monthly and quarterly growth targets.
  • Develop a strong understanding of your client’s businesses, industries, and challenges to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships that drive satisfaction, loyalty, and sustainable growth.
  • Achieve individual performance targets across sales growth, retention, and overall account performance.
  • Identify and progress opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within your portfolio.
  • Maintain a strong and accurate sales pipeline in Salesforce, improving lead generation, opportunity quality, and conversion rates.
  • Use data and insights to manage opportunities effectively and maximise pipeline performance.

About you

You thrive on building strong client relationships and delivering sustainable commercial outcomes. You bring a strategic mindset to account management, backed by strong analytical capability and a proven track record of growing revenue within complex customer portfolios. You’re comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and take pride in balancing strategic planning with disciplined execution.

In addition, you will have:

  • 7+ years in contract/account management, including 3+ years in face-to-face or field sales with a proven track record in forecasting, managing, and growing sales pipelines.
  • Demonstrated success forecasting and driving sales and margin performance.
  • Strong experience building and managing high-quality sales pipelines (volume, value, win rates, velocity).
  • Proficiency using Salesforce or another enterprise CRM system.
  • Strong analytical abilities, using Excel (or similar) to identify customer opportunities and prioritise actions.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to provide clear feedback.
  • A natural relationship builder who can create long-term, profitable customer partnerships.
