The role – Education Account Manager
Working with multiple stakeholders within a school, you will build strong partnerships to understand their requirements and identify new opportunities, creating customised solutions to help them operate with ease.
In this diverse role you will be working closely with some of our Education customers across the Hawkes Bay including Primary, Intermediate, and Secondary Schools (there may be some travel on a quarterly basis as well). You will be responsible for increasing sales and gross profit targets, ensuring plans are in place to deliver on time.

Key Responsibilities Include
- Build effective relationships with multi-tiered engagement in each school
- Identify and convert new sales opportunities
- Develop and execute sales plans in alignment with OfficeMax\’ sales strategy
- Proactively manage and grow sales pipeline
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and knowledge experts to optimize portfolio performance
What You Will Bring
- 3-5 years experience working within schools or a B2B environment
- Successful record of developing strong business relationships
- Demonstrated experience in supplier and customer negotiations
- Track record of working in matrix team structures
- Commercial, logistics and problem-solving skills
