Job DescriptionWork with Core Engineering and Support teams to deliver secure, reliable infrastructure, networking, server, endpoint, and data services. The role supports Head Office, stores, warehouse operations, third-party vendors, and technology projects, with a focus on resolving security gaps, maintaining core systems, and ensuring stable service delivery across 90+ retail stores, users in HO, and a large warehouse team.
What we are looking forRequirements
- 6+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure, security, and support.
- BTEC HNC/D or equivalent in Computing/IT or related subject preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Meraki and Fortinet network equipment, including switches, access points, routers, and firewalls.
- Experience administering Microsoft , Active Directory, Windows desktop, and Windows Server environments.
- Hands‑on experience with VMware, Hyper‑V, endpoint protection, patching, and secure configuration.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL, FTP servers, FTP applications, and secure data handling.
- Strong problem‑solving, root cause analysis, documentation, and communication skills.
- Proactive, collaborative, detail‑focused approach with a track record of improving processes and reducing security risk.

- Monitor performance, resolve incidents and service requests, and address vulnerabilities to minimise risk and disruption.
- Maintain technical documentation covering infrastructure configurations, controls, and operational procedures.
- Engage vendors and service providers to support operational needs and project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and promote infrastructure and security best practice.
