The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
The main responsibility of the position is to take ownership of trading the department and planning future ranges. They will have full ownership of all allocations and distribution on the department maximising sales potential of all stores and the web. They will also support, develop and train the allocator on the department.
What we are offering you:
- Ownership of trading the department β forecasting sales, updating and managing linecards, placing repeats and planning markdowns
- Plan markdowns on the department
- Full ownership of all allocations and distribution on department
- Work closely with stores to ensure stock packages maximise sales potential and that stores are not overstocked, focusing particularly on flagships, German stores, the website and concessions
- Plan options by grade to ensure stores donβt get over optioned
- Ownership of planning future ranges β forecasting sales and range planning with Buying team in order to maximise sales opportunities
- Support Merchandiser updating and planning in WSSI system
- Planning intake on the department to ensure sales are maximised and stock flow is optimal as well as within warehouse weekly targets
- Produce and analyse daily and weekly reports to support Merchandising team
- Presenting figures, providing information and contributing in meetings
- Support, develop and train the allocator to ensure they hit department and individual objectives
- Ad hoc analysis
- Attend supplier meetings
- Review order books weekly from brands and call in stock as required
- Any other duties that may be required
