Role Overview
Support the Merchandising team in the Trading department, owning allocations and distribution across all stores and the web, while planning future ranges with the Buying team.
Responsibilities
- Full ownership of all allocations and distribution on the department, including managing weekly intake and planning options by grade.
- Support Merchandising team trading the department β full control of forecasting sales, updating linecards, placing repeats and planning markdowns.
- Support Merchandising team planning future ranges β full control of forecasting sales and range planning with the Buying team to maximise sales opportunities.
- Produce and analyse daily and weekly reports to support Merchandising team.
- Work closely with stores to ensure stock packages maximise sales potential and that stores are not overstocked, focusing particularly on flagship, German stores, the website and concessions.
- Manage weekly intake on the department.
- Support, develop and train the allocator to ensure they hit department and individual objectives.
- Present figures, provide information and contribute in meetings.
- Ad hoc analysis and any other duties that may be required.
What we are looking for
- Minimum 18 months experience working in Merchandising in a retail Head Office.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Advanced level Excel skills.
