Supervises: Team Leads and/or Front Line Employees
Basic Function: Ensure that the cleaning specifications sold to clients are being fulfilled and that the work is completed on‑time and within budget (labor and chemicals). This is a key role within the company and offers opportunity for advancement upon demonstrated performance.
Major Responsibilities:
- Manage Team Leads and/or Front Line Employees
- Hire employees
- Supplement site inspections & follow‑up plans
- Manage labor budget in assigned areas
- Develop strategies to bring expenses under control
- Manage and evaluate time‑keeping system
- Schedule work loads for new and existing accounts
- Ensure customer service promises are met; take full responsibility for outcomes
- Collaborate closely with Office Pride management and follow up on tasks generated by the management team
- Assist in building the management team as needed and as budget allows, under the direction of senior management
- Report nightly via a written area manager report covering time, activities and tasks performed
- Attend weekly staff meetings to report on completed tasks, pending work, and problem‑solving with owners and management
- Oversee all aspects of managing the general operation of the business in your area
- Work necessary hours to perform duties and any other duties required for business success
- Work a minimum of 40 hours per week; weeks may extend to 45 hours
- Performance‑based incentives (bonuses) based on KPIs
- Clean assigned hours on a regular basis or as needed
