Refrigeration Engineer - Kent
Join our clients long-established refrigeration team with decades of expertise, where your work genuinely matters. You'll play a vital role in keeping stores operational by maintaining and repairing critical refrigeration systems that customers rely on every day.
Our client is looking for a hands-on refrigeration engineer who enjoys solving problems and working independently.
Ideally you will have experience in supermarkets, commercial refrigeration, HVAC, transport refrigeration, or chillers
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Maintaining and repairing refrigeration assets including:
- Display cases, freezers, cold rooms
- Chillers, packs, condensers
- Diagnosing faults using engineering expertise and monitoring systems
- Completing compliance paperwork accurately and efficiently
- Supporting store operations by reducing downtime and repeat visits
Skills & Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2/3 (or equivalent experience) in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- F-Gas Category 1 certification
- Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
- Customer-focused mindset and ability to work independently
- Full UK driving licence

- Basic salary 45K (upto 48k if based live within M25)
