A leading UK-wide facilities management provider is looking for a Fire & Security Engineer to support retail sites across Carlisle. This is a field-based role delivering PPM and reactive maintenance across fire and security systems, working within a structured, compliance-led environment.
The Role
- Service, maintain and repair Fire Alarms (BS 5839), CCTV, Access Control, EAS and PA systems
- Carry out planned maintenance and reactive call-outs
- Ensure systems remain compliant and fully operational
- Liaise with site teams and complete digital reports
- Participate in on-call rota
Requirements
- Experience with Fire Alarms and CCTV (essential)
- Knowledge of BS 5839 standards
- Electrical qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds)
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
