Our client is a well-established precision sheet metal manufacturer supplying industries including aerospace, automotive, medical, and defence. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their warehouse team with an experienced Goods In/Out operative to support their Bristol site. This role would suit someone with previous experience in a manufacturing environment who is comfortable managing stock, handling deliveries, and ensuring goods are processed accurately and efficiently.

Main Duties

  • Manage incoming goods and outgoing despatch operations
  • Maintain accurate stock records using ERP/MRP/WSM systems
  • Prepare orders for shipment including packing and labelling
  • Organise courier collections and transport bookings
  • Handle delivery paperwork and certification documents
  • Carry out stock checks and inventory counts
  • Ensure the stores area remains tidy and audit-ready
  • Work closely with production, purchasing, and quality departments

Experience Required

  • Previous experience within goods in, despatch, stores, or warehouse operations in manufacturing
  • Good stock control and inventory management knowledge
  • Confident using computer systems and stock software
  • Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (Gas/LPG essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
