Join a growing team as an Air Conditioning Engineer in the Cambridgeshire area. We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality service across a variety of commercial environments.
About the Role
Responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing, fault finding, and installing commercial air conditioning systems across customer sites. This includes planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive call outs in the Leeds area, covering:
- Retail stores
- Care homes
- Hospitality venues
- Commercial premises
You will work independently and as part of a professional team, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Fault finding and repairing air conditioning equipment.
- Carry out reactive maintenance, servicing, PPM, and installations.
- Work on split systems, and VRV/VRF systems.
- Participate in a 1 in 4 call out rota.
- Advise customers on repair or replacement of equipment.
- Provide information for quotations including parts, labour, and equipment.
- Meet targets for Health & Safety, quality, compliance, and profitability.
- Act as a technical expert within the regional team.
What We're Looking For
- F Gas (2079) Category 1
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or time served)
- City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent
- Experience with VRV/VRF systems, split systems, chillers, and AHUs
- Full UK driving licence
- Able to pass a DBS check
