Our client is a well-established precision sheet metal manufacturer supplying industries including aerospace, automotive, medical, and defence. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their warehouse team with an experienced Goods In/Out operative to support their Bristol site.
This role would suit someone with previous experience in a manufacturing environment who is comfortable managing stock, handling deliveries, and ensuring goods are processed accurately and efficiently.
Main Duties- Manage incoming goods and outgoing despatch operations
- Maintain accurate stock records using ERP/MRP/WSM systems
- Prepare orders for shipment including packing and labelling
- Organise courier collections and transport bookings
- Handle delivery paperwork and certification documents
- Carry out stock checks and inventory counts
- Ensure the stores area remains tidy and audit-ready
- Work closely with production, purchasing, and quality departments
- Previous experience within goods in, despatch, stores, or warehouse operations in manufacturing
- Good stock control and inventory management knowledge
- Confident using computer systems and stock software
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (Gas/LPG essential)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
