Our client is one of the UK's leading providers of electrical safety services, specifically inspection and testing of fixed installations. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Remedial Electrician in the Guildford area.

Technological Pioneers: Development of on-site & online technology to enable immediate client access & update of records, regardless of location.

Blue Chip Client base: Industrial, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Aerospace, Food & Drink, Sports & Leisure, Education. No High St retail or domestic.

Due to several large project wins, they are looking to expand the business and are now looking for a Remedial Electrician to cover Guildford and the surrounding areas.

You will have the ability to work as part of a team to carry out Electrical Remedial Works for a range of clients. You should possess a good working knowledge of current electrical legislation, regulations and standards and have a proven track record of working in 24-hour operational environments.

Good IT skills would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided to produce legible, accurate and concise reports.

  • Good sound electrical knowledge, for testing and installation works.
  • To carry out electrical repairs/minor works on a variety of types of LV installations.
  • To liaise with the Remedials/Operations Supervisor for planned and routine maintenance programme and reporting procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Electrical Installation (NVQ Level 3 / 236)
  • Commercial/Industrial Experience
  • AM2, IPAF, PASMA (desirable)
  • Test and Inspection 2391 (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence

Our client is offering a salary of up to £48,000 DOE + overtime, 30 days holiday including bank holidays, a company van and fuel card is supplied, and enrolled on the pension scheme from day one. Following successful completion of the 6-month probationary period, the person will be invited to join the company health scheme.
