commercial, retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, defence and industrial , meaning engineers are exposed to a wide variety of technically interesting environments and equipment. For an engineer looking to progress, this is a particularly good opportunity. The business actively invests in
training, professional development and career progression , with development plans focused on individual career goals. The role is essentially an
operational manager for a regional team of engineers , rather than simply a senior engineer this role would suit an experienced engineer who is now looking to come off the tools and take the next step in their career, moving into a Team Management position where you can use your technical knowledge while developing your management, leadership and customer-facing skills. Main responsibilities include: Provide technical support and guidance to field engineers. Review and quote for work Client Management Act as the link between administration, management and the engineering team. Monitor engineers and ensure best practice in
H&S, engineering standards and customer service . Participate in an
on-call rota . Deliver contracted performance targets. Act as the
Subject Matter Expert
for the region's technical competencies. Liaise directly with clients to establish requirements and identify improvement/project opportunities. Maintain high customer-service standards. Ensure engineers maintain their technical competence and undertake ongoing development.
Qualifications / experience:
City & Guilds / UK Level 3 NVQ
in a relevant HVAC/Electrical discipline, or time-served with suitable experience. Relevant
H&S qualification . Experience working in the
industrial and commercial sectors . Demonstrable knowledge/experience of
HVAC systems . Ability to understand
schematic and wiring diagrams . Full UK driving licence. Ability to pass a
DBS check . Strong communication, organisation and customer-service skills. Microsoft Office/computer literacy.
