REMEDIAL ELECTRICIANSHEFFIELD£49K OTE £55K - £65K (travel time paid)COMPANY OVERVIEWOur client is an established electrical compliance specialist delivering inspection, testing and remedial services to commercial and industrial clients across the UK.Working with a diverse range of organisations and complex electrical installations, they have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality electrical compliance and remedial solutions.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Remedial Electrician to join their team. This is a field-based position covering sites across the UK, with the role based around Sheffield. JOB PURPOSEAs a Remedial Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving electrical faults across a range of commercial and industrial LV installations.
The role will involve carrying out remedial works and minor installations, identifying faults and required materials, completing accurate documentation and working directly with clients to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. JOB RESPONSIBILITIESIdentify, diagnose and rectify faults across single and three-phase electrical systemsCarry out remedial works, repairs and minor installations on LV systemsAim for first-time fault resolution wherever possibleAssess jobs and identify the required parts and materialsOrder materials and equipment required to complete remedial worksWork closely with the Operations/Remedials Supervisor to coordinate workloads and schedulesComplete accurate job records, reports and relevant electrical documentationUse CRM systems to record completed works and provide clear client reportsWork independently across client sites while also supporting the wider teamCommunicate professionally with clients and minimise disruption to their operationsEnsure all work is completed safely and in accordance with BS7671 and relevant regulationsEXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONSRecognised, time-served electrical apprenticeship in electrical contracting, maintenance or a related discipline – essential18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2018) – essentialCity & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent – preferredStrong experience diagnosing electrical faults across commercial or industrial environmentsExperience working with single and three-phase LV systemsConfident working independently across customer sitesGood communication and customer-facing skillsComfortable completing electronic reports and using basic IT systemsFull UK driving licenceSALARY & BENEFITS£49,500 basic salaryOTE up to £65,000 with paid travel timeCompany vehicleFuel card22 days annual leave + Bank HolidaysPensionComprehensive training and ongoing developmentPermanent, full-time positionOpportunity to work across a varied commercial and industrial client baseIf you're an experienced Remedial Electrician looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing electrical compliance business, call Martin on 07908 947471 or apply today and we'll be in touch.
