JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pre-Commission Cleaning Engineer to join our team in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out pre-commission cleaning of HVAC systems, boilers, and pipework in commercial and industrial buildings, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and in line with current regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform pre-commission cleaning of HVAC systems, boilers, and pipework according to industry standards and regulations
- Utilise appropriate chemicals, methods, and equipment to remove dirt, debris, and contaminants
- Complete cleaning projects within allocated timeframes and budgets
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to meet project objectives
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and report issues to management
- Adhere to health and safety procedures on all sites, ensuring a safe working environment
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and evolving cleaning technologies
- Provide training and guidance to assistants or junior team members
- Deliver daily project updates and feedback to relevant stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS / BENEFITS:
- Valid SSSTS and CSCS certification
- Demonstrable experience in pre-commission cleaning of HVAC systems, boilers, and pipework
- In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and cleaning standards
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Full UK driver's licence with willingness to travel to various job sites
- Physically fit and capable of handling heavy equipment when required
SALARY/BENEFITS
Generous Salary of £45,000-£55,000 Doe
40 hour working week
