JOB PURPOSE
The PPM Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of commercial refrigeration systems. This includes performing servicing, fault diagnosis, and remedial repairs to ensure all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with industry standards within the assigned region.
This is a field-based role offering long-term stability, ongoing training, and the chance to work within a supportive, technically skilled team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Service and maintain commercial refrigeration systems.

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and fault-finding.

Complete maintenance reports and compliance documentation accurately.

Liaise with clients, supervisors, and office staff to ensure efficient service delivery.

Maintain van stock and assist with routine stock checks.

Participate in an out-of-hours rota on a 1-in-4 basis.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Experience working with refrigeration systems.

F-Gas certified (Category 1-4).

Competent in both electrical and mechanical tasks.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Full UK driving licence.
SALARY/BENEFITS

£30,000 – £32,000 per annum (DOE)

Overtime available year-round (paid at 1.5x)
