The Role

This is a mobile position covering the Dartford area, delivering first-class building fabric and maintenance services to high-profile commercial clients. You'll play a key role in ensuring sites remain safe, compliant, and well maintained, taking ownership of reactive and remedial works while delivering a consistently high standard of service.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality reactive and remedial building maintenance works
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues using initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Source parts, materials, and liaise with manufacturers when required
  • Complete detailed job reports to keep clients fully informed
  • Ensure all works are completed within agreed timescales and to required standards
  • Maintain accurate records including O&M logs and risk control measures
  • Use mobile devices (PDA/tablet) to manage and close jobs
  • Work closely with the Helpdesk to ensure efficient response and resolution
  • Carry out works independently or as part of a wider team
  • Adhere to strict health & safety standards, completing point-of-work risk assessments
  • Represent the company professionally when dealing with clients
  • Participate in an on-call rota across contracts

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant trade qualification (C&G or NVQ Level 2 or 3)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a building maintenance or FM environment
  • Strong all-round building fabric knowledge, including:
  • Carpentry
  • Wet trades
  • Minor plumbing
  • Tiling
  • Groundworks
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Package & Salary

    • 34k + Overtime
