The Role
This is a mobile position covering the Dartford area, delivering first-class building fabric and maintenance services to high-profile commercial clients. You'll play a key role in ensuring sites remain safe, compliant, and well maintained, taking ownership of reactive and remedial works while delivering a consistently high standard of service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality reactive and remedial building maintenance works
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues using initiative and problem-solving skills
- Source parts, materials, and liaise with manufacturers when required
- Complete detailed job reports to keep clients fully informed
- Ensure all works are completed within agreed timescales and to required standards
- Maintain accurate records including O&M logs and risk control measures
- Use mobile devices (PDA/tablet) to manage and close jobs
- Work closely with the Helpdesk to ensure efficient response and resolution
- Carry out works independently or as part of a wider team
- Adhere to strict health & safety standards, completing point-of-work risk assessments
- Represent the company professionally when dealing with clients
- Participate in an on-call rota across contracts
Skills & Experience
- Relevant trade qualification (C&G or NVQ Level 2 or 3)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a building maintenance or FM environment
- Strong all-round building fabric knowledge, including:
- Carpentry
- Wet trades
- Minor plumbing
- Tiling
- Groundworks
Package & Salary
- 34k + Overtime

- Overtime paid at 1.5x evenings and 2x weekends (after Saturday midday)
