Technological Pioneers - Development of on-site & on-line technology to enable immediate client access & update of records, regardless of location.
Inspection & Testing Work - Carried out in pairs.
Blue Chip Client Base - Industrial, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Aerospace, Food & Drink, Sports & Leisure, Education. No High St retail or domestic.
PURPOSE OF AN ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Inspector to join our client's team in the Oxford area. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in various commercial and industrial settings. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to identify and report on potential hazards and compliance issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR
- Conduct comprehensive Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in commercial and industrial environments.
- Inspect and test electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control equipment.
- Provide clear and concise reports detailing the condition of electrical installations, including recommendations for remedial actions.
- Ensure all inspections are carried out in accordance with relevant standards and regulations, including BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to maintain and enhance technical skills.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical installation work.
- City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.
- NVQ Level 3.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent, depending on location).

- Pension - The current level of contribution by the company is 3% of salary, with the person contributing 5%. Enrolled on the pension scheme from day one.
