We're looking for an experienced and motivated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our clients team in the Kent area. If you take pride in delivering high-quality service and enjoy working across a variety of commercial environments, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
Responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing, fault-finding and installing commercial air conditioning systems across customer sites. Includes planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive call-outs in the Kent area:
- Retail stores
- Care homes
- Hospitality venues
- Commercial premises
You'll work independently and as part of a professional team, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Fault finding and repairing air conditioning equipment.
- Carry out reactive maintenance, servicing, PPM and installations.
- Work on split systems, and VRV/VRF systems.
- Participate in a 1-in-4 call-out rota.
- Advise customers on repair or replacement of equipment.
- Provide information for quotations including parts, labour and equipment.
- Meet targets for Health & Safety, quality, compliance and profitability.
- Act as a technical expert within the regional team.
What We're Looking For
- F-Gas (2079) Category 1
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or time served)
- City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent
- Experience with VRV/VRF systems, split systems, chillers and AHUs
- Full UK driving licence
- Able to pass a DBS check
