The role of
Mechanical Design Engineer
focuses on supporting the design and delivery of mechanical building services solutions, including HVAC and plumbing systems. Working within a collaborative design team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing detailed design packages, conducting site surveys, and attending client and project meetings. The position is key to ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering efficient, high-quality outcomes. Experience

HNC (or equivalent) in a building services-related qualification
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and relevant industry software
Confidence in client-facing situations and team collaboration
Ability to travel and occasionally stay away for short periods
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A proactive, values-driven approach to work
Salary / Benefits
Salary : £40,000 per annum
Location : Suffolk (Regional Office / Hybrid – typically 2 days in-office including Tuesday)
Hours : 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm)
