An opportunity has arisen for a Depot Maintenance Technician to join the depot, delivering maintenance and repairing a range of electrical and mechanical plant and equipment in the distribution centre. Operating across multiple UK regions while maintaining strong local engineering teams. Delivering compliance-led fire and security solutions in line with current British Standards and industry regulations.
Clear KPIs, response times, and performance metrics supported by digital reporting systems. Long-Term Client Partnerships supporting large, multi-site commercial portfolios with consistent, high-quality service. Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.
- Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Senior Maintenance Technician or Cluster Facilities Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.
- Where plant and equipment is non-repairable, make recommendations to the Senior Maintenance Technician or Cluster Facilities Manager regarding suitable replacement.
- Advise the GM and distribution line managers of any repair and maintenance issues that are likely to affect the smooth running of the depot.
Level 3 core Electrical qualification, examples of which are: Familiarity with completion of electrical certification, City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection, time served in electrical discipline or have relevant industry experience in a similar role.
