REMEDIAL ELECTRICIAN SHEFFIELD £49K OTE £55K - £65K (travel time paid) COMPANY OVERVIEW Our client is an established electrical compliance specialist delivering inspection, testing and remedial services to commercial and industrial clients across the UK. Working with a diverse range of organisations and complex electrical installations, they have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality electrical compliance and remedial solutions. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Remedial Electrician to join their team. This is a field-based position covering sites across the UK, with the role based around Sheffield. JOB PURPOSE As a Remedial Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving electrical faults across a range of commercial and industrial LV installations. The role will involve carrying out remedial works and minor installations, identifying faults and required materials, completing accurate documentation and working directly with clients to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Identify, diagnose and rectify faults across single and three-phase electrical systems Carry out remedial works, repairs and minor installations on LV systems Aim for first-time fault resolution wherever possible Assess jobs and identify the required parts and materials Order materials and equipment required to complete remedial works Work closely with the Operations/Remedials Supervisor to coordinate workloads and schedules Complete accurate job records, reports and relevant electrical documentation Use CRM systems to record completed works and provide clear client reports Work independently across client sites while also supporting the wider team Communicate professionally with clients and minimise disruption to their operations Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with BS7671 and relevant regulations EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Recognised, time-served electrical apprenticeship in electrical contracting, maintenance or a related discipline – essential 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2018) – essential City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent – preferred Strong experience diagnosing electrical faults across commercial or industrial environments Experience working with single and three-phase LV systems Confident working independently across customer sites Good communication and customer-facing skills Comfortable completing electronic reports and using basic IT systems Full UK driving licence SALARY & BENEFITS £49,500 basic salary OTE up to £65,000 with paid travel time Company vehicle Fuel card 22 days annual leave +
