The Company
Our client is a newly established Precision Engineering company based in Bristol, with a strong and growing order book and an extremely promising year ahead. Due to continued growth and increased demand, they are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business at an exciting stage, with plenty of opportunity for progression as the company continues to expand.

The Role
As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring components meet the required quality standards and specifications throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect sheet metal, fabricated and machined components using appropriate inspection equipment and techniques.
  • Work from engineering drawings, inspection specifications and quality standards to ensure components meet customer requirements.
  • Complete all required inspection documentation, including First Off Inspection and Final Inspection Reports.
  • Identify and report quality issues promptly, escalating any concerns that could affect production output or delivery.
  • Maintain accurate quality records and ensure inspection processes are followed consistently.
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues where required.
  • Maintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a Quality Inspection / Manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Confident reading and interpreting engineering/component drawings.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • NVQ Level 3, relevant technical qualification or time-served apprenticeship.
  • Experience with CMM and Faro equipment is desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.

Salary & Benefits
£40,000+ per annum, depending on experience. Plenty of overtime available at 1.5x hourly rate. Permanent position. Excellent company benefits.
