6:30am–4:15pm or 7:00am–4:45pm The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Production Programmer to join an established manufacturing business, working within its Production Engineering team. This is a shop-floor-based role focused on CAD/CAM programming, preparing manufacturing files and programming laser cutting and press brake machinery to support the production of metal components. Key Responsibilities
Interpret 2D and 3D CAD drawings and convert STEP files into DXF files for manufacturing.
Program laser cutting and press brake machinery remotely.
Upload accurate production data into the MRP system.
Work with production teams to meet deadlines and manufacturing requirements.
Support process improvements, design for manufacture, quality and safety.
Identify tooling and equipment requirements to improve production efficiency.
Essential Skills & Experience
Good working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD software, ideally Autodesk Inventor.
Experience operating a press brake.
Background in metal fabrication or component manufacturing.
Understanding of manufacturing processes.
Good IT, communication and problem-solving skills.
