Mobile HVAC Engineer Location - Covering Southwest Region (Bristol)

We are currently seeking a professional Mobile HVAC Engineer. You will attend planned and reactive jobs across a variety of client sites across the region. As the HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Working independently as well as a team to undertake the planned and reactive maintenance services on our client's premises, ensuring compliance with specifications, PPM schedules and procedures.
  • Complete paperwork records and provide quotations for outstanding actions.
  • Respond to call-out requests to ensure clients' systems are not prejudiced and maintain continuity of operation.
  • Report, quote and act upon failures and faults.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety protocols.
  • Provide prompt and effective response to emergency situations, diagnose faults and initiate actions to prevent deterioration of environmental conditions.
  • Operate the contract proactively to minimise difficulties with building environmental systems.
  • Liaise with specialist subcontractors and engineers from other disciplines to ensure efficient operation without disruption.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Candidates must have either:
    • A) City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent) in pipe fitting and general plumbing in commercial systems.
    • OR B) Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Heating and Ventilating Systems or Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
  • AND C) Relevant experience including:
    • Preventive and reactive maintenance work
    • Experience with similar equipment in commercial buildings
    • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience
    • Ability to organise work and perform under pressure
    • Valid UK Driving Licence
