Mobile HVAC Engineer Location - Covering Southwest Region (Bristol)
We are currently seeking a professional Mobile HVAC Engineer. You will attend planned and reactive jobs across a variety of client sites across the region. As the HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Working independently as well as a team to undertake the planned and reactive maintenance services on our client's premises, ensuring compliance with specifications, PPM schedules and procedures.
- Complete paperwork records and provide quotations for outstanding actions.
- Respond to call-out requests to ensure clients' systems are not prejudiced and maintain continuity of operation.
- Report, quote and act upon failures and faults.
- Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety protocols.
- Provide prompt and effective response to emergency situations, diagnose faults and initiate actions to prevent deterioration of environmental conditions.
- Operate the contract proactively to minimise difficulties with building environmental systems.
- Liaise with specialist subcontractors and engineers from other disciplines to ensure efficient operation without disruption.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Candidates must have either:
- A) City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent) in pipe fitting and general plumbing in commercial systems.
- OR B) Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Heating and Ventilating Systems or Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
- AND C) Relevant experience including:
- Preventive and reactive maintenance work
- Experience with similar equipment in commercial buildings
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience
- Ability to organise work and perform under pressure
- Valid UK Driving Licence
