A leading UK-wide facilities management provider is looking for a Depot Maintenance Technician to join them in Bradford. The organisation delivers specialist technical services to major retail and commercial clients, supporting large-scale estates with planned and reactive maintenance solutions. An opportunity has arisen for a Depot Maintenance Technician to join the depot, delivering maintenance and repairing a range of electrical and mechanical plant and equipment in the distribution centre.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Complete the PPM schedule within agreed KPI timescales and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.
  • Work flexibly within the cluster as required.
  • Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and assess the requirements of the job, carrying out repairs as necessary.
  • Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.
  • Order spares to the laid-down procedures.
  • Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Senior Maintenance Technician or Cluster Facilities Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.
  • Advise the GM and distribution line managers of any repair and maintenance issues that are likely to affect the smooth running of the depot.

Essential Experience:

  • C&G 2382 (18th edition)
  • Level 3 core Electrical qualification, examples of which are: C&G2330, C&G 2365 (with relevant experience), C&G2365 etc.
  • 3 phase electrics and its applications.

Desirable Experience:

  • Familiarity with completion of electrical certification.
  • City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection.
  • Time served in electrical discipline or have relevant industry experience in a similar role.

  • £41,000 (including Stand-by + 5% SLA)
