We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated M&E Site Supervisor to oversee the installation of mechanical and electrical services on a major project in Braintree, Essex. The development comprises three new-build warehouse units. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery throughout the construction process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage site inductions and supervise subcontractors, ensuring compliance with risk assessments and method statements to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform and document equipment safety checks.
  • Deliver daily Toolbox Talks to reinforce health and safety standards.
  • Monitor progress against the project programme and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure all works comply with contract drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct and record quality inspections of installations.
  • Provide regular progress reports to M&E Contracts Managers.
  • Maintain effective daily communication with the main contractor.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
  • CSCS Gold Card or higher.
  • Telehandler license.
  • Experience in using Dalux system.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience on commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).

Contract Details

Competitive day rate of £350 per day. Approximately June 2026 - November 2026.
