A well-established precision engineering company, specialising in high-spec metallic components for the aerospace industry, is currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Miller Setter Operator to join their growing team.

With a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and technical excellence, the company offers a supportive and forward-thinking environment with continued investment in advanced machining technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting and operating 3/4/5 axis CNC milling machines (Heidenhain controls)
  • Producing complex components from various materials to tight tolerances
  • Meeting quality and production targets
  • Attending daily production (SQDCP) meetings
  • Supporting continuous improvement activities, including 5S and process optimisation
  • Recording and reporting any quality or production issues (NRFT)
  • Tool setting and offset adjustments
  • Ensuring correct documentation and materials are used
  • Collaborating with colleagues to meet production schedules
  • Flexibility to support operations at another nearby site if needed
Working Hours:

37 hours per week
Mon-Thu: 07:30 - 16:00
Fri: 07:30 - 12:30
