BEMS/ BMS Commissioning Engineer
Location: Midlands, Bristol, Swindon , Reading, Greater London
Salary: £55,000-£60,000 + vehicle/allowance, overtime & benefits

Our client is looking for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to join their growing BEMS/BMS team. The role will involve commissioning, testing and fault-finding BEMS/BMS systems across a range of commercial and industrial projects.
This opportunity is with a well-established, nationwide facilities and building maintenance business, providing 24/7, 365-day support to commercial clients across the UK, and provides a comprehensive range of building services, including heating, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, HVAC and air conditioning, allowing customers to manage multiple building services through a single specialist partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Commission and test BEMS/BMS systems from installation through to handover.
- Carry out point-to-point, I/O and functional testing.
- Commission HVAC plant including AHUs, FCUs, boilers, chillers, pumps and VAV systems.
- Configure and fault-find BMS controllers and field devices.
- Work with Siemens, Tridium Niagara and Cylon platforms.
- Work with BACnet, Modbus and other BMS communication protocols.
- Review drawings, points lists and control strategies.
- Complete commissioning documentation and client handovers.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and project teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' BMS commissioning experience.
- Strong HVAC and controls knowledge.
- Experience with Siemens, Tridium Niagara and/or Cylon.
- Good understanding of BMS networking and communications.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Able to read BMS schematics and control drawings.
- Good client-facing and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Package
- Salary: £55,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience
