They are now seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their Edinburgh-based team, working across Public Sector and Commercial Office contracts.

JOB RESPONSBILITIES
- Service and maintain commercial heating systems and boilers
- Install, diagnose, and repair heating systems and domestic hot and cold water systems
- Install heating plant, domestic water plant, and water heaters
- Carry out pipework installation for water, gas, air, and associated systems
- Operate press-fit tools
- Complete reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance
- Work collaboratively with other trades on-site
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and building standards
- Complete job reports and associated documentation accurately
- Prepare material lists and support apprentices when required
- Participate in the on-call rota to provide emergency support
- Undertake additional duties in line with business requirements
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing
- Valid Commercial Gas Qualifications: COCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, ICPN1A
- LPG qualification (desirable)
- OFTEC 101, 105E & 600A (desirable)
- Unvented Hot Water Storage certification
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
SALARY & BENEFITS
- £40,000 - £45,000 basic salary (ote £50,000 +)
- 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
- Company van and fuel card

- Core working hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm (30-minute lunch break)
